What happens twice a year and takes months of planning? Press Days.

After sending out invitations, choosing playlists and shipping in shortbread from Ireland our Press Day was finally here and it was a fantastically, exhausting day. The new Autumn Winter collection has us dreaming of knits and leathers pants and spring has not arrived in London yet! With this in mind, we thought we would give our lovely followers a little sneak peek – enjoy

You know how some people are just cool? Well, that is how we would describe Karin, the model in our latest shoot for the new petrol blue MiH Biker Jacket. This Swedish model has an incredibly understated, cool style. Not to mention, she has just come back from walking the runway at Stockholm Fashion Week and still managed to find time answer our quick fire questions. Read on to find out just how cool this girl is.

MiH: If you could live in a movie, which movie would it be?

Karin:  Harry Potter, for sure. Especially the first one when everything is all new and exciting!

MiH: Best piece of denim I have ever owned...

Karin: My vintage Levi's boyfriend jeans that I found for €3 in Paris and my MiH Jeans Sugarland in Honeyboy, the have the best wash I've ever seen on a pair of jeans.

MiH: What superpower would you like?

Karin: Sometimes I would love to be able to play with time and create a day with 28 hours instead of 24. Also, to be able to fly free as a bird!

MiH: What is your guilty pleasure?

Karin: Expensive handbags.

MiH: What would be your desert island album?

Karin: Right now, it would be any album from The Black Keys.

MiH: Last meal?

Karin: Salmon (such a Swede).

MiH: : Favourite place in London?

Karin: Any place with my sweet friend Elinor, she knows London really well and always takes me to great places. Last time we went to a place called L'Eau A La Bouce, which is a great coffee place.

MiH: If you could witness one historical event, which would it be?

Karin: The Woodstock Festival 1969.

MiH: What is the best fashion tip you have ever been given?

Karin: Wear the clothes, don't let the clothes wear you.

MiH: Your style in 3 words…

Karin: Simple, modern and very much Karin

MiH: What is your earliest fashion memory?

Karin: I got my first pair of high heels when I was 4 years old from my dad. They were made of plastic and after that it took me at least fourteen years before I tried high heels again...

MiH: Whose wardrobe would you steal?

Karin: Jane Birkin

In February 2012 the MiH team moved into brand new headquarters. We gave you a sneak peak back then but we thought you might like to see how it is looking now. We've started to settle in and make it feel a bit more like home. With the launch of our new Pre-SS13 collection today, we thought we'd give you a glimpse of our design team's mood board. Here are some of their key words for the season:

Oh how we're yearning for all of the above: swimming pools, blue skies, summer...  

We think there is something wonderfully charming about a picture wall, and rehanging our own picture wall in our new office space made it feel just like home. The perfect combination of character and colour, we love that every picture wall is unique to itself and these are a few of our favourites.
