As we drink copious cups of tea and sit as close as physically possible to the radiator on this cold, cold day, this bright & breezy behind-the-scenes film of our Spring-Summer 2012 Collection look book shoot is exactly what we need. Ruby Aldridge frolics in the West Sussex countryside, running in fields, showing us her (genuine) guitar skills, climbing walls and playing on the swings. Oh how we wish we were there right now.

We know the Royal wedding is all over every TV channel, magazine and blog in the world, but how could we not mention it when we are a British heritage brand and the event will take place around the corner from MiH HQ.

Some of us at MiH HQ are more excited about the wedding than others. Our Global Head of PR has already planned her ‘wedding breakfast’ and is on the hunt for the perfect piece of memorabilia. She has her eye on a plate from Fortnum & Mason but is also somewhat tempted by the Wills & Kate tea bags. Her enthusiasm knows no bounds.

However, we are all on the edge of our seats waiting to see her dress. Fingers crossed The Sunday Times were right about that McQueen number!

The nights are getting lighter and despite the bitter cold wind in London today, there have definitely been glimpses of Spring over the last few days. As a result, this seems like a perfect time to post a behind-the-scenes film of our SS11 lookbook shoot. If watching the beautiful Marloes Horst walking on a Dorset beach doesn’t get you in the mood for (a distinctly British) Summer, nothing will.
