We know we're always told not to play with our food, but this has to be an exception. We discovered this amazing work on Idafrosk's Instagram, thanks to the lovely Camilla Pihl. All weekend plans have been abandoned for food experimentation.

After a visit to Ballgowns: British Glamour Since 1950  at the V&A last weekend, we are feeling more than inspired for the myriad of Christmas parties and balls in our (collective) near future. These works of art by the likes of Norman Hartnell, Alexander McQueen and Erdem are incredible. The exhibition is still on, so hot foot it over to South Kensington immediately.

How much do we wish this duck might cruise past us as we speed walk alongside the Thames on the way home from work in this grey, grey day?

We first spotted them in our SS13 look book (sneak peak above), and since then they have been popping up everywhere. The trend: trainers (as in real trainers… trainers for sport) with chic, smart outfits. Elin Kling, Tamu McPherson and many many more have been pulling it off with aplomb.

We've been talking about trainers for a while: Mikey in Look Who's Talking inspired us to hit Niketown and then write this post last year. The shoes are still in action.
