We talk a lot about our favourite female denim icons, so we figured it was about time we gave a little attention to some seriously stylish guys, and it doesn’t really get any cooler than Jagger, Richards, Lennon and Gainsbourg.

While each of these illustrations is by a different artist, they all get our stamp of approval. We think they are all absolutely lovely, and we would add each of them to our stamp collection (if we had one).

Celebrated French artist Yves Klein was a risk taker who pushed boundaries with his art throughout his career, but it's his use of a single intense shade of ultramarine blue that helped inspire our newest denim wash: Klein Blue 42.
